1. Introduction
Welcome to QVVB. QVVB is a web-based tool that helps users generate, save, share, and discover validation boards for ideas, products, apps, startups, side projects, and related concepts.
These Terms, Privacy & Public Content Policy explain how you may use QVVB, what content you may submit, how generated boards and public links work, what information we collect, and how we use and protect that information.
By creating an account, generating a board, using the Service, sharing a board, listing a board in Browse Ideas, creating a public profile, appearing in Contributors, or accessing QVVB, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use QVVB.
2. Important Notice About Confidential Information
Do not submit confidential, proprietary, classified, sensitive, regulated, third-party protected, or legally restricted information to QVVB.
This includes, but is not limited to:
- trade secrets;
- confidential business plans;
- unreleased product details;
- client, employer, government, or third-party confidential information;
- security-sensitive information;
- personal data about other people;
- health, financial, legal, or highly sensitive information;
- information subject to nondisclosure agreements, employment restrictions, government restrictions, or contractual confidentiality duties.
QVVB saves generated boards and usage events to provide, maintain, protect, analyze, and improve the product. Public links are accessible to anyone with the link. Boards that you choose to list in Browse Ideas may be discoverable by the public. Public profiles and Contributors pages may also be visible to the public if you enable them.
You are solely responsible for deciding what you submit.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use QVVB. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may use QVVB only with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
QVVB is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we may delete the account and related data.
4. Accounts and Authentication
To generate and save boards, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.
We may use email confirmation, login sessions, and other authentication mechanisms to protect accounts and maintain system integrity.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the Service, attempt unauthorized access, submit unlawful content, or interfere with other users.
5. QVVB Boards and Generated Content
QVVB allows users to submit idea-related inputs and receive generated validation boards. Generated boards may include summaries, scores, recommendations, assumptions, questions, outreach drafts, and other structured content.
Generated output is provided for informational and brainstorming purposes only. QVVB does not provide legal, financial, investment, medical, engineering, security, compliance, tax, immigration, or other professional advice.
You should independently evaluate any generated output before relying on it. You are responsible for your decisions, actions, business plans, communications, investments, and use of generated content.
6. Public Links, Browse Ideas, Public Profiles, and Contributors
QVVB may support several levels of visibility:
Private Dashboard View: Boards you create are available in your account dashboard.
Public-by-Link Boards: A board may be accessible through a public share link, such as /q/:slug, if public link sharing is enabled. Anyone with the link may view the board.
Browse Ideas Directory: A board appears in Browse Ideas only if you choose to list it. Public-by-link and directory listing are separate. A board may be accessible by link without appearing in Browse Ideas.
Public Profiles: If you enable a public profile, your public name, bio, avatar, hero image, and listed public boards may be visible on your public profile.
Contributors: If your profile is public and you have at least one listed public board, your public profile information and contributor statistics may appear on the Contributors page.
Your email address is not shown on public profiles, public boards, Browse Ideas, or Contributors pages.
You are responsible for reviewing your board and profile content before making it public, listed, or discoverable.
7. Your Content
“Your Content” means information, text, names, descriptions, ideas, board inputs, generated boards, profile content, avatar/hero URLs, and other materials you submit to QVVB.
You retain any rights you have in Your Content. By submitting Your Content to QVVB, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, display, reproduce, transmit, format, analyze, and use Your Content as necessary to provide, maintain, protect, improve, and develop the Service.
For content you make public, share by link, list in Browse Ideas, publish through a public profile, or make visible through Contributors, you also grant us the right to display that content publicly through QVVB.
You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit Your Content and that Your Content does not violate the rights of others or any applicable law.
8. Prohibited Content and Conduct
You may not use QVVB to submit, generate, publish, share, or promote content that:
- is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, abusive, hateful, or invasive of privacy;
- infringes intellectual property rights, confidentiality obligations, employment obligations, or contractual restrictions;
- contains sensitive personal information about another person without authorization;
- contains malware, spam, phishing, scraping, automation abuse, or harmful code;
- attempts to exploit, harm, or collect information from minors;
- encourages illegal activity, serious harm, or unsafe conduct;
- impersonates another person or organization;
- attempts to reverse engineer, disrupt, overload, attack, scrape, or abuse the Service;
- attempts unauthorized access to accounts, systems, databases, infrastructure, or non-public data.
We may remove content, unlist boards, restrict public profiles, suspend accounts, delete accounts, or take other action if we believe these Terms are violated.
9. Idea Ownership and Similar Ideas
QVVB does not guarantee that your idea is unique, confidential, protectable, patentable, trademarkable, copyrightable, or commercially viable.
Other users may independently submit similar or identical ideas. QVVB is not responsible for disputes between users regarding idea ownership, similarity, priority, business opportunity, intellectual property, or confidentiality.
Do not use QVVB as a substitute for confidentiality agreements, intellectual property registration, legal review, patent/trademark advice, or professional business advice.
10. Feedback
If you provide feedback, suggestions, feature requests, or ideas about QVVB, you grant us the right to use them without restriction or compensation to you.
11. Data We Collect
We may collect the following categories of information:
Account Information: Email address, authentication identifiers, login status, confirmation status, and related account metadata.
Profile Information: Public name, profile slug, bio, avatar URL, hero image URL, public profile visibility settings, and related public display information.
Board Information: Board title, description, inputs, generated outputs, verdicts, scores, public link status, listing status, creation dates, likes, and related metadata.
Usage and Event Data: Events such as board creation, board views, share-link actions, likes, exports, searches, clicks, login/signup activity, profile changes, listing changes, and related product analytics.
Technical Data: IP address, browser type, device information, operating system, referring pages, timestamps, URLs, session data, cookies or similar technologies, and approximate location derived from technical signals.
Communications: Messages you send to us, support requests, feedback, transactional emails, welcome emails, and email delivery logs.
12. How We Use Data
We may use collected data to:
- provide and operate QVVB;
- authenticate users and protect accounts;
- generate, save, display, share, and list boards;
- operate dashboards, public links, Browse Ideas, Contributors, and profiles;
- send account, confirmation, welcome, transactional, and service-related emails;
- analyze usage and improve the product;
- debug errors, prevent abuse, and secure the Service;
- enforce these Terms;
- comply with legal obligations;
- develop new features and improve user experience.
13. Public Information
The following information may become public depending on your settings and actions:
- public share-link boards;
- boards listed in Browse Ideas;
- board title, description, verdict, likes, author public name, and creation time;
- public profile name, bio, avatar, hero image, and listed public boards;
- contributor statistics such as number of listed boards and total likes.
Do not publish information you do not want others to see, copy, index, save, screenshot, or share.
Even if you later delete, unlist, or make content private, copies may remain in browser caches, screenshots, search engine caches, third-party links, backups, logs, analytics records, or other systems outside our control.
14. Service Providers and Infrastructure
We may use third-party service providers to host, store, process, analyze, email, secure, authenticate, or deliver the Service. These may include cloud hosting, database, authentication, analytics, email, monitoring, and infrastructure providers.
These providers may process data on our behalf according to their own terms and privacy commitments.
15. Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking
QVVB may use cookies, local storage, analytics tools, server logs, and similar technologies to operate the Service, maintain sessions, remember preferences, measure traffic, improve functionality, detect abuse, and understand product usage.
We may use first-party analytics and third-party analytics services if enabled. You may be able to limit tracking through browser settings or third-party tools, but some features may not work properly without essential cookies or storage.
16. Data Sharing
We do not sell your email address.
We may share data:
- with service providers who help operate QVVB;
- when you make content public or share a public link;
- as part of aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified analytics;
- to comply with law, legal process, or government requests;
- to protect rights, safety, security, users, or the Service;
- in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, sale of assets, or similar business transaction.
17. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Service, maintain accounts, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, prevent abuse, maintain backups, and improve the product.
You may request deletion of your account or certain data by contacting us at avi@qvvb.com. Some information may remain in backups, logs, legal records, aggregated analytics, public copies, or systems outside our control for a limited or legally required period.
18. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information. No online service, database, email system, or transmission method is completely secure.
You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and for avoiding submission of confidential or sensitive information.
19. Your Privacy Choices
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of certain personal information.
You may also be able to:
- update profile information in Settings;
- disable your public profile;
- unlist boards from Browse Ideas;
- avoid enabling public discovery features;
- request deletion of your account;
- contact us regarding privacy requests.

20. International Users
QVVB may be operated from the United States or other locations. If you access QVVB from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in countries that may have different data protection laws than your country.
By using QVVB, you understand that your information may be processed in such locations, subject to applicable law.
21. AI and Automated Outputs
QVVB may use automated or AI-assisted systems to generate board outputs, summaries, scores, recommendations, questions, or other structured content.
Automated outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased, or unsuitable for your situation. You should verify outputs independently. QVVB does not guarantee business success, investment outcomes, legal compliance, funding, market adoption, technical feasibility, safety, profitability, or any specific result.
22. Third-Party Links and User Content
QVVB may contain links to third-party websites, user-provided URLs, avatar URLs, hero image URLs, or other external content. We are not responsible for third-party websites, third-party content, external images, or external services.
You are responsible for ensuring that any URLs or external content you provide are lawful and do not violate third-party rights.
23. Disclaimers
QVVB is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, reliability, and security.
Outputs produced by QVVB — including scores, MVP scope, interview questions, outreach messages, build plans, verdicts, and any other generated content — may be AI-generated or automatically generated. They are provided for informational and educational purposes only and are delivered on an “as-is” basis, with no guarantee of accuracy, completeness, suitability, or fitness for any purpose.
QVVB does not provide business, legal, financial, investment, technical, security, compliance, tax, medical, or other professional advice. You should consult qualified professionals before acting on any generated output.
QVVB and its operators are not responsible for any user-submitted content, including ideas, descriptions, public boards, listed boards, or public profiles. QVVB and its operators are not responsible for any decisions, actions, expenditures, launches, relationships, or other consequences resulting from acting on generated plans or outputs. QVVB and its operators are not responsible for any third-party use, copying, reposting, sharing, scraping, indexing, or interpretation of public boards or public profiles.
Users are solely responsible for their submissions, public boards, listed boards, public profiles, implementation decisions, business outcomes, and any resulting consequences. Users are solely responsible for ensuring they have the right to share what they submit and for complying with applicable laws.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or free of harmful components.
24. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, QVVB and its operators, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, loss of goodwill, business interruption, or loss of opportunity.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service will not exceed the greater of: (a) the amount you paid to use QVVB in the 12 months before the claim, or (b) USD $100.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some limitations may not apply to you.
25. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless QVVB and its operators, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees, arising from or related to:
- your use of the Service;
- Your Content, including ideas, descriptions, public boards, and listed boards;
- your public boards, listed boards, or contributor profile;
- your reliance on, or any decisions, actions, expenditures, launches, or business outcomes resulting from, any AI-generated or automatically generated outputs produced by QVVB;
- third-party use, copying, reposting, sharing, or interpretation of your public boards or public profile;
- your violation of these Terms;
- your violation of law;
- your violation of third-party rights.
26. Changes to the Service or Terms
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue QVVB at any time. We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted with a new effective date.
Your continued use of QVVB after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
27. Termination
You may stop using QVVB at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk, caused harm, abused the Service, or if required by law.
After termination, certain sections of these Terms will continue to apply, including sections about public content, data retention, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, and governing law.
28. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Subject to any mandatory consumer protection laws that may apply, the state and federal courts located in Georgia will have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service.
